Capitalist Freedom
Capitalist Freedom, an exhibition by artist Tithi Kutchamuch.
We are questioning freedom in a capitalist world. We find illusions of choice in our supermarkets and high street chain stores. Countless products are manufactured identically in the same factory, only to be branded with different logos.
In many cases, a single corporation will control the entire system from start to finish: from agriculture to processing plant, to factory, to wholesale, and even down to retail. We choose to squint and close our eyes. We walk away and create our own world of ignorant bliss, constructing a glass dome over our own version of the truth.

Capitalist Freedom Automata
The Making
I was very grateful for the opportunity to work with one of my favorite designers, Tithi Kutchamuch.
This project took one year to complete and began when I joined Factopia as a designer assistant. During this time, I had the opportunity to create a full illustration set and develop the mechanical concepts for all of the animal automata featured in the project.
All designs were created under the art direction and narrative framework developed by Tithi Kutchamuch.
Dear P’Few…. If you ever come across this, thank you for believing in me and allowing me to try things I had never done before. Looking back after five years, I’m still grateful for the freedom, guidance, and trust that shaped me into who I am today :-)
